Hi,

Having PCD does not necessarily mean you have a disability. PCD affects people in different ways. Disability may also be defined differently from country to country. In the UK it’s defined as having a ‘substantial or long term negative impact’ on a person i.e something that affects your daily life. For this reason many people with PCD do consider themselves to have a disability (e.g daily physio, regular chest infections).
