The PBCers Organization's 2020 Patient Education was scheduled in October 2020 in Durham NC, then April 2021 and then October 2021. Regretfully we have to postpone the date again! COVID just doesn't allow us to hold our conference as intended. Many conferences have switched to virtual but we feel so much of our conference is based on the personal interaction between patients that you don't get through a virtual meeting.

We are working with the hotel on selecting a new date. On advice of several respected advisors we are looking at Fall of 2022.

For me this brings mixed feelings. I want so much to provide the great meeting i have planned in my head but I still haven't been cleared to attend by the transplant team!

This conference will be such a celebration when we can finally attend!!

Sad that it is getting postponed again, but it's probably for the best. With all the unknowns of this dang virus, the attendance probably wouldn't be that great anyway. Hopefully our researchers are still able to do their jobs, during this time! Take care!

In light of this, Zoom meetings periodically with speakers and discussions would be nice.

Oh, that's very sad. I would like to attend this conference. A friend of mine who collaborates with brightvisionevents.co.uk/co... also participated in the organization of this patient training, he told me a couple of days ago about this conference and that it is being postponed again. It's a pity, but in fact it's a sound decision, because the coronavirus is very dangerous, new strains are constantly appearing, people are dying more and more. We'd rather be patient for a while than create a dangerous situation. We will wait and hope that everything will be fine and we will be able to meet again.
