In November of 2019 the PBCers Organization set up a booth at AASLD Liver Meeting 19. We shared information with people who stopped by our booth about our organization's support services, our new patient registry, our collaboration with Antidote to connect patients with clinical trials and our upcoming 2020 PBC Patient Education conference. While there we also met with researchers, pharmaceutical representatives and many doctors and researchers working in PBC. One of the doctors met with us to discuss her recent study of the fatigue in PBC - Dr. Marina Silveira from Yale. Here is a link to learn more about her study

This is an area that needs more attention - patients need to be able to find ways to deal with or lessen their fatigue. It is a topic we hope to have on the agenda for our 2020 Conference in Raleigh / Durham

I would be willing to be in any area. I have PBC. Diagnosed in 2014. But It was not checked. Im sure I had it in 2012. I thought i was just getting older. Lol. I have been on setrealine for 30 yrs. I didnt have any itching. Now I find out that helps with itching. Im now itching. I would be more than willing again to help in anyway. Nikki
