Hi All, I am a new member to this group, signed up from Yahoo. I was diagnosed with PBC in 2017. Had no signs of anything until then. I have so many questions since all of this is new to me. I feel I have good doctors but all of this is so overwhelming to me since I had never been ill prior to my diagnosis. I have high numbers for my Alkaline Pho’s. (127), Bilirubin 2.2, AST 29, ALT 15. Am taking 300mg of Ursodial 3x day.

Has anyone experienced cramps? Last week I very bad cramps for about 5 hours. Started in my hands/ fingers, then moved to feet and legs. It was just horrific! Not sure why this happened but will discuss with my doctor.

Looking forward to being an active part of this group.

Welcome to this forum! What is the normal range from your lab for Alka Phos? 127 would not be high on my labs.

Is your Ursodiol dose correct for your weight? I posted a chart for correct dosage in another post. (Could not get it to add into this one)

As an admin I edited your name and city from your post because here we leave identifying info like that out of posts.

Marvaswanson - the only lab test that looks high to me is your bilirubin. Like Carol said, your ALP would be in normal range, per the lab I go to. Did you get a biopsy or AMA M2 test done? Wondering how they diagnosed you.

Yes, I did have biopsy, AMA M2, ultrasound , and MRI.
