I had this on my neck prior to diagnosis and the first two people who I met face to face also had this but not as many later. Mine has disappeared over the years so I tend to think it was more hormone related than PBC

Like some others have noted, I also had hyperpigmentation on my face, prior to PBC diagnosis. Mine is pretty much gone and I think it was more due to being on birth control pills. Once thing I will mention is, I also applied aloe vera (the actual plant) to a bad spot I had on my forehead and it disappeared after about 3 weeks, applying 2xs a day.
