Hi there I have had a bit of cystisis over the years and an odd urinary tract infection and have also heard that it is common with PBC. I try to avoid both by drinking lots of water every day at least one if not two litres a day and on the whole this seems to work well. Best of luck.

I know for a fact that since starting urso Dec 2010 I tend to go to the loo once or twice during the night if I wake up. Never used to prior to urso. I think the acidity of the urso has something to do with it all.

I think I had a urine infection last year but apparently they can clear up of their own accord. I know I didn't feel right bladderwise for over a week and then suddenly I felt fine again. I did think it was due to the urso. I know my urine doesn't see as was prior to starting on urso but it is still the usual colour, that is dark early morning after rising and then it starts to become quite clear throughout the day.

I know in PBC one can develop dark urine.

I had numerous bladder infections before Urdosol. I think since which is about 5 yrs ago I had about three infections. Hope this helps. In comparison I had about 1-2 a month.
