I have pbc,when I get minor infection such as a cold I get symptoms of pbc such as itching and nausea which most of the time are absent.

A soon as I go near public transport I alway get a cold!! And yes all my other PBC symtoms get worse, particaully nausea. I then cross my fingers the cold doesnt get worse!! Good luck to you and hope your cold goes quickly
I've yet to fathom out the itching of PBC. Some nights I don't, others I do these days so it doesn't surprise me when you stated vicw that if you come down with a cold then you start itching along with nausea.
Fortunately I've never really been one for contracting colds. There are a few of my close family members who succumb to colds quite easily but I never seem to flag there myself so I cannot say whether my itching is different as currently I only itch at night time.
