Leg heaviness...

Continuing on from my previous post my gp agreed to do 3 further injections, after loading doses finished and my neuro symptoms flared- heaviness/ weakness in arms, which I always had, but I then started developing sciatic type back pain which ran down my legs and into my hip and some heaviness in both calves. My palpitations also returned. I have now had 2 further injections after my loading doses and have noticed I still have heaviness in my lower legs. Both sides feel the same and I have no swelling or redness. I just wondered if anyone else experiences this? I feel like this is a symptoms that has come after treatment for all my other symptoms. I did have niggling back pain on and off for around 3 months before realising I had b12 deficiency, which I'm guessing was another one of the symptoms I took no notice of at the time 🥴. Not sure if they're feeling heavy as my body is starting to heal or I should be concerned.

Yes I called then 'lead legs'Sometimes felt I eas stuck to the ground .

Worst I itislly on loading doses .

I then had EOD for months after a 5 week gap ( supposed to wait 3 months )

My nervous system was greatly affected .

We all 'reboot' in different ways .

Early days and u got worse before better .

Gentle stretches, pysio helped me .

How long did it take for you to notice improvement?

Hi Hgsn, yes I had heavy legs but SI B12 has helped with this immensely. I have 8 weekly at GP but it is not enough for me to keep symptoms at bay so have chosen to self treat in the main and haven’t told my GP as I want to be on their records as having B12 from them . Everybody is different however . It’s trial and error to see what works for you
