Go by your blood results.The common things to watch are levels of;

Folate

Ferritin

Iron

Vit D

Other things may be harder to obtain on NHS request.

I have had magnesium

Potassium done as well as the fbc

I take a multivit .

Ferritin I struggle to keep levels up so take a regular low dose iron supplement.

My daughter needs 400mcg folic acid daily

NHS recommend 400mcg folic acid for all women of child bearing age anyhow.

Thanks for replying.So folic acid is the only one to take unless you are deficient in the others that you mention?

Thanks

I take a rda multivitFolic acid recommended by the NHS 400mcg daily for childbearing aged women.

Or if bloods show a deficiency in folate.

Hi Cabbage

When supplementing co factors try to aim for between mid range and 75% as that best support B12 working effectively

A handful of nuts, bananas or coconut water should help keep others in check too
