Go by your blood results.The common things to watch are levels of;
Folate
Ferritin
Iron
Vit D
Other things may be harder to obtain on NHS request.
I have had magnesium
Potassium done as well as the fbc
I take a multivit .
Ferritin I struggle to keep levels up so take a regular low dose iron supplement.
My daughter needs 400mcg folic acid daily
NHS recommend 400mcg folic acid for all women of child bearing age anyhow.

When supplementing co factors try to aim for between mid range and 75% as that best support B12 working effectively
A handful of nuts, bananas or coconut water should help keep others in check too
