I have spoken to the doctor today regarding my B12!

Apparently, my B12 is high ‘But’ apologises for being told its because I eat red meat 🙄

it’s my Cholesterol Level that's high it always has been!

But in my ignorance, I didn't think a 5ft 8inch Woman who weighs 8 stone! Would have this!

Now I understand! Anyone can have high cholesterol!

I'm not too bothered!

Red Meat hahaha What would he have blamed it on if I didn't eat a steak now and then!! Ridiculous!

Hi,

"Apparently, my B12 is high ‘But’ apologises for being told its because I eat red meat "

I hope I've understood...is the GP saying you have both high B12 and high cholesterol?

I'm glad you got an apology.

Is the GP going to do further tests due to high B12?

I left a reply earlier today on your other thread.

Its true that anyone can have high cholesterol. It's possible to have high cholesterol even if your diet and lifestyle is excellent, due to genetic factors. High total cholesterol usually indicates that LDL cholesterol should be investigated. The most accurate measure of cholesterol-related cardiovascular risk is ApoB but for most people, LDL particle count is sufficient to indicate risk.

I would not ignore high cholesterol as it may lead to cardiovascular problems down the road.
