Do people with PA/B12 deficiency get run down more easily, even if undergoing treatment?

hi all! I’m in the midst of a long stretch of work (9th straight day) and I am so much more exhausted than everyone around me. I have PA and I am self injecting, but I’m just curious if we get tired more easily or deplete our reserves more quickly in times of high stress or intense work, even if under treatment? I thought I’d be more “normal” because I’m injecting, but maybe I just have a new normal now.

Yes, I still get tired very easily if I am either ill or have been doing more than normal. Pace yourself they say - try pacing yourself when you're looking after the two grandkids, who are 4 years and 18 months every weekend when their parents are relaxing at work! 🤣

Hi,

Do you think you're getting enough B12?

Many forum members report that stress seems to use up B12 faster.

I have seen a lot of people mention that they seem to need more B12 when ill or under stress. Maybe increase your frequency of injections?

Hi marlesk

Great that what you describe is a problem of success in my eyes. I self inject too - several times a day to live my life how I want to live it which is in the fast lane, full on and always looking forward to some itching and multiple projects in the go. I self inject several times a day.

Just been away for a few days and I had to up the frequency as the increased social activity and walking would have depleted my batteries.

Now back home I am into my usual routine with no downside. So I suggest you have nothing to lose by supporting your body with more B12. At worst you pee it out at best you feel less tired! Keep an eye on your cofactors too.
