"Heterogeneous group of anemias"

This appears to be a chapter from a book. It's an organization of "a heterogeneous group of anemias characterized by the presence of large red blood cell precursors called megaloblasts in the bone marrow. This condition is due to impaired DNA synthesis, which inhibits nuclear division...". Therefore, this grouping including some disorders that result in B12 deficiency, and this chapter might be interesting to some members of this forum, though, as has been discussed here recently, many people with severe neurological symptoms due to B12 deficiency do not test positive for megaloblasts.

I am not medically trained and welcome corrections.

This article was illuminating, that you. If our GPS followed these recommendations, none of us would be on here complaining about our treatment and self injecting to save our own health. Thank you.

Congratulations on finding such a fine piece of work. It covers all the bases [well, all the bases I can think of] and gives references without simply making statements. Worthwhile, and thank you once again.
