Thanks for posting, looks really good at first glance. I'm going to watch it in full later.

I think it is deeply fascinating the role that the gut plays on our brain and vice versa.

For example, if stress is a signal sent to the gut from the brain, does the gut have to then manage that with the right fuel? I.e. diet? Or are microbiome profiles largely set, i.e if someone suffers with depression and that shows up in the gut, can it be improved with gut management strategies (Like better diet, sleep, meditation etc?)

It flips most things we know about the body on it's head. And I like that!

Very informative and clearly put. Thank you.

I have been looking into this subject for quite a while now. Especially as I don’t have a clear indication of b12 deficiency from the tests I’ve had. Quite the reverse, everything appears normal despite my feeling that that’s not the case.

Bacterial overgrowth and dysbiosis are listed reasons for b12 deficiency and I wonder how often this is the case resulting from our diet and dysfunctional lifestyles. All of which point to b12 supplementation as treating the symptoms not the underlying cause.

I’ve had all the symptoms described in the video. Depression, weight gain, problems with alcohol, chronic insomnia etc.

Very slowly with attention mainly to what I eat things seem to be improving. But it is a real struggle (10 years +) with everything in our lives geared to making us chronically sick and the large percentage of processed foods we’re confronted with.

This comes as a useful reminder to follow again the things I know but sometimes forget to put into practice. Thank you.
