Recently I’ve had a CBC show elevated eosinophils and neutrophils. I’ve been injecting with hydroxocobalamin 1000 mcg once a week (few months back every other day). My question is if there may be correlation between b12 deficiency or treatment that may affect white blood cells?
I’ve also been on antibiotic treatment for a UTI infection around the same time frame.
Thanks everyone!

Neutrophils are white cells that fight bacteria/fungi and eosinophils fight mostly parasites and are present in some cancers. Nothing to do with hydroxycobalamin
Your elevated neutrophils and eosinophils are not just associated with infection. Elevated eosinophils could be due to asthma while elevated neutrophils are associated with severe asthma exacerbations. Your elevated levels AND your b-12 deficiency are more likely related to autoimmune disorders than infection. Might wanna check out your thyroid, and possibly mass cell activation syndrome.
