Im 7 weeks into self administered weekly injections and was doing really well but the last 3 days i seem to be getting some of the pins and needles feeling back along with some of the other neurological symptoms. I know that sometimes symptoms may get worse before they get better which i experienced early on but is it possible for this to happen this far into treatment and to go through that phase again? Curious cause i was doing awesome, nearly symptom free.

It's not gone in a linear line for me. Far from it. I do get blasts from 5he past at times.

Si just keep going and hopefully more healing being done.

I've never got symptom free so you are doing well.

I don't think you can ever be symptom free with PA. The pins nd needles you describe is Peripheral Neuropathy, one of the neurological symptoms of PA. I've had them for over 20 years but I never understood what they were until recently.

I am having the same thing and I hear it’s normal and my Neuro said the same thing. He called them “flare ups” but my b12 and MMA levels are normal and that means that the injections are working. But my symptoms come and go - like pins and needles in feet and hands and scalp and walking problems like I can’t control my legs when taking steps. I have good days and bad days but my Neuro reassured me that this is normal and that it took a long time to come on and it will take a long time to heal. I am just thankful for the good days that I have! Take care ❤️
