Hello all,

I am planning on buying B12 injections from [link delete by Admin]

Does anyone know how long it will last in the fridge once reconstituted and what the recommended dose is? I'm quite happy administering injections myself and reconstituting (i've done it plenty time in the past with other meds and peptides) I just want to understand how quickly it degrades and dose.

Thanks,

Have you got a good reason for using the dehydrated Methylcobalamin powder? You will need to get saline from a German online pharmacy , as saline is also Prescription only . The safest way to administer B12 is by using single-use ampoules . There is always danger of contamination by using injections from a large supply of made up solution .

Forum members usually get their supplies of B12 Hydroxocobalamin in single-use ampoules from German online pharmacies .A pack of 10 costs about £6.50 Don’t need to br refrigerated unless we get a heat-wave . Have a use by date of about 30 months. I’ll send you more exact. Information.

It will last for one injection. After that is will be contaminated with bacterial and fungal spores. If you're lucky you won't inject enough to infect you.

As wedgewood says, you'll need sterile saline (otherwise you'll be injecting even more bacteria and fungi). But sterile saline will not be at the correct pH to stabilise the methylcobalamin - that's why commercial preparations contain acetic acid and sodium chloride. So it will go off faster.

You're spending £25 on 20 mg of B12 in a format that you cannot use safely,

You could, instead, spend €16.38 (£14.77) for 20 mg in 1 mg single-use ampoules. versandapo.de/vitamin-b12-d...

I've been injecting with this stuff for ages and it makes me agressive. Do you think it could be the saline solution? I want to use methylcobalamin not hydroxy hence prefer not to buy from Germany. Could you advise?

Thanks :-)

You can obtain single-use Methylcobalamin ampoules from a manufacturer in Munich, Germany

You can order by email manufaktur@arnika-apo.de or phone them on 089 452 468 468 They don’t have a site where you can order . You tell them what you want - they tell you the cost , you pay by pay-pal -they send the ampoules . They have 1mg x 1ml and 5mg x 1ml ampoules .

An Australian company supplies Cynocobalamin, Hydroxocobalamin and Methylcobalamin single use ampoules to anywhere on the globe .

vitaminquick.com I believe that this B12 comes from Vietnam .

Hope that this helps you.

No, it's not the saline making you aggressive, it's the methylcobalamin. That's what it does to me.

One of the many reasons I inject hydroxocobalamin - its' cheaper, more stable, just as, if not more, effective, easier to source, safer, fewer side-effects.

I agree. Why take an unnecessary expensive risk.
