Update - Slowly getting there

Hi everyone :)

Just wanted to start by thanking everyone e for your support on my last post! It really meant a lot to have so many lovely messages and words of support, made me feel much more sane and like I wasn’t going crazy for feeling the way I have been feeling, so thanks very much!

I have recently just found out that my GP is able to start my injections again, which is a massive relief as over the last few weeks my symptoms have definitely become worse.

Really struggling with palpitations, especially at night when I’m laying down. I get uncomfortable feelings of fullness in my upper stomach (feels like my rib area) and am nauseous a lot.

Yet again, my anxiety is at an all time high, I keep feeling numbness and aching in my arms, shoulders, hands, legs and feet. The pain is never quite the same, always moves around and happens at different times. So all my symptoms make me feel like there is something really wrong with me - and with health anxiety this is consuming me.

I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced this at all, but I’ve also found my sleep has started to really be affected. I keep having awful night terrors, waking up and seeing things or hearing things not long after I’ve gone to sleep. I wake up and feel panicked and like I can’t breathe.

Does anyone else suffer with any of these at all? I’ve also started to notice when I wake up in the mornings or sometimes during the day my hands have started to shake. I have had my thyroid tested by the GP through bloods, should I be pushing to get this tested thoroughly in hospital?

Thanks so much once again for taking the time out of your days to read my posts and I’m sorry if I ramble! I hope you’re all keeping well! :)

It's horrid..the symtoms are unreliable and pain full. And can get you down.the quicker you get back on your injections the better..I don't think it helps stopping and starting them.good luck.

I think with the set back of no injections t will take a while to get some Improvements.

All you mention are familiar symptoms

Hope you steadily make some progress

Write it down .

Take care

Oh my goodness I get some of these symptoms and my docs have stopped my jabs to see what my levels are like by mid August, it’s been 13/14 weeks since last one and I feel rubbish already! And I’ve had a baby 12 weeks ago.

I have a lot of the same symptoms but they are slowly getting better with injections. Before my b12 deficiency diagnosis, I had awful thigh, calf and foot pain, burning sensations, brain fog, horrible fatigue, my gums tingled and I felt the same as you - an overall sickness feeling like my whole system was shutting down slowly. Thank GOD for the b12 shots. It’s a lifesaver!!
