Salty taste

Has anyone experienced a persistent salty taste? I’ve had it for three weeks now, it’s horrible.

My daughter says taste changes when she is low on folate.

My hubby used to say everything tasted too salty before he was diagnosed with B12d and folate deficiency . He really struggled to eat when he was in hospital after both his heart surgery and his stroke.

This is quite interesting as I don't use salt at all, i can't stand it. Haven't used it since i was about 10, im 56 now. Don't even add it too food that is being cooked and there are so many dishes I wont eat because they are too salty, chinese for one. Never put it down to anything else, just that i was fussy (i don't add sugar to anything either)
