No experience I'm afraid, but it seems to me that it shouldn't be an issue (providing the company is willing to to cover any conditions that is - some might just rule anything out).
After all, with the right treatment it doesn't seem to be any more dangerous than diabetes (probably less so) and I'm sure companies deal with that.
Not sure what happens if you have B12 deficiency, but not officially diagnosed as PA though - Most online companies seem to use the same list of conditions if you tick the box for them.
I'm sure someone on the forum will have more experience though.

Hi Marianne1 I'm somewhat surprised at this as I've had several life assurance policies during the 45 years I've had P.A and I know that when renewing my driver's licence P.A. is not on the list of "illnesses" that have to be declared.
True, if untreated, P.A. will be fatal - did you say that you "self treated"?
Hi Clivealive
I did advise that it was being treated and totally under control, I think the idea that I was having monthly injections 'for life' is what scared them off, I'm very surprised too as I've have life insurance before and they just skimmed over it when I mentioned it
In Martyn Hooper's book "What you need to know about Pernicious Anaemia & Vitamin B12 Deficiency" on page 216 he mentions that some insurers will charge extra premiums for travel wheres others don't and advises to "shop around".
I guess this might cause problems if the life insurance is linked to a mortgage.
I hope you find something suitable and wish you well

Hi Marianne1. Hmm...I was thinking about potential problems with insurance not so long ago, spotted this post in another forum, and copied it for future reference (ever hopeful that one day I'll be fit enough to do a holiday 😅):

There's also a specialist insurance firm called Insurance With. Apparently they undertake more sophisticated screening and this helps to keep costs down
Might be worth investigating...be interested to hear how it goes.
Good luck 👍
Hi there, I haven't experience of Life Insurance but for the first time in twenty odd years with PA , this year I was refused travel insurance without paying a big premium. They were just doing tick boxes. I had to prove my blood had been above 80gl for over a year. My doc gave me printouts, I rang them back and they were happy.
