Anyone undergo steroid therapy to build up strength?

My muscles are slack and I can't walk without a walker. Would short term steroid therapy help?

Hi blinkysmom - you really need to take proper medical advice on this one - someone who will tell you what the potential downsides are as well as the upsides. Steroids can have a lot of side effects but its going to vary depending on the exact steroid involved. I think you can also build up a tolerance to some which isn't ideal.
