Generally I think the experience is exactly the opposite. I certainly find that taking some B12 helps with sleeping when I am having problems.
However, people's responses to B12 are very individual - I use a mixture of forms because different forms work on different symptoms - methyl seems to be the one that helps with sleep.
I have the opposit problem for at least a week after injections and can sleep all day
I have always found that I don't sleep well the night following an injection (hydroxocobalamin). When I was only having an injection every 2 or 3 months it was very noticeable but now that I have much more frequent injections (every 10 to 14 days) it's just a slight restlessness.
