Good Morning Jane

It took a few weeks after the initial B12 injections before I really felt any benefit. However within two months the aching stopped and as I have been on these injections for nearly two years now I can't believe how much better I feel. I still get the old aches and pains but I think that is down to my age! I hope you start to feel the benefit soon.

Many thanks

Dear Sian

Thank you for your reply hopefully this will happen for me.

Kind regards

Jane

It would be good to get your folate and ferritin checked, they work together with B12 so if you're low in them you won't get the best from the injections. Folate needs to be top end of the range and ferritin at about 80. The other thing to check is vitamin D and calcium, if you have aches and pains. It does take time to feel better, try keeping a symptom diary and if things get worse ask for more frequent injections. Some useful info here:
