The best thing you can do to help yourself is to take the medications as prescribed by your neurologist, because they are tailored to your Parkinson's. We all have different symptoms and your doctors know what is best for you. I recommend taking what's prescribed, no more no less. Side effects are different for us all depending on what kind of response you have to the medicine.

Best wishes

I am 72 years of age and was diagnosed as having Parkinsons by my GP 12 months ago,

I have been taking 3 sinemet tablets daily (now increased to 4 daily a few days ago).

I'm also taking 1 Dilitiazem tablet daily and 4 x 1mg marevan daliy.

My sister called me the other day and told me we were taking over from our parents.

I have good days and not so good days.

I am getting weaker but am still running my business,
