Tremors in Parkinsons

Hi There

Can anyone recomend what works best for tremors, I am really struggling with the tremor, Tried Pramixopile but spaced me out.

Thanks for your prompt reply - what are Mucuna pruriens - I am on 3 Sinomet 25/100 and 1 Amantadine daily.

Mucuna is a source of levodopa as is Sinemet. Is your current regimen helping at all?

That’s right park_bear. It’s levodopa from the mucuna seed.

Be careful of the vomiting.

For me, Madopar works fine, 1x125mg early morning, 1x 62.5mg before lunch and 1x 62.5mg around 6pm

thats good to hear. Thats a low dose. How long have you Parkinsons?

Diagnosed in 2012, but started to take Madopar in nov 2018 only

How long have you been taking sinemet? I found it took months before it tamed the tremor

I have been taking Sinomet for around 7 years. I have tried Madoparf but seemed o make tremors worse.

Regular exercise helps.. seems to relieve the intense shakes.

Thanks exercise is very important and find it helps Are you taking any meds for the tremor?

yes levodopa.. 3 tabs/day
