Stalevo May not be Working

I am taking Stalevo 50-200MG 6 times a day for my Parkinsons symptoms. I have also been taking 1 gram of B1. I only take the Stalevo when I go into an off condition which consists of sometimes very violent tremors. When I take my dose, I frequently am experiencing extreme frigidity which is alost unbearable. I started taking another dose of the stalevo about 30 minutes to an hour after the first dose. I only do this when the symptoms I am experiencing do not lessen in intensity. During this time I am confined either in a chair or in bed. After I take the 2nd dose, it usually takes about 15-20 minutes and then I notice a change in the intensity level of the rigidity and I start to once again move my feet and leg starting with a wagging or wriggling of my 2 feet. After, this I start to regain my muscle strength and tone and am my on state. I know that this is an unusual way to take my doses of this medication, however, this is the only way that , I know of to get any relief. I do have other medications at my disposal and take them as needed Other medication as follows:

carbo levadopa tabs 25 - 100MG 3 x DAILY

Amantadine 100MG 3x DAILY

Trihexyphenddyl 2MG 2X daily

Cyclobenzaprine 10MG 3X daily as needed

Citalopram 10MG 1X daily in the morning

Lorazepam 1MG 1X daily as needed

Eliquiis 5MG 2X daily

B1 Thiamine 250MG (6 x 250) 1500 Grams

I would like to know if anyone else has encountered a situation such as I am experiencing and how they are handling it

Can I ask why you only take Stelevo when you go into an off state ?

I take Stalevo 200 every 2 1/2 hours. If you take it when you go to an "OFF" stage you too late. I also take sinemet 100 after I eat. Even at 2 1/2 hours I start to go down after taking my pill. For me, food make my meds useless. I eat 1/2 after taking my stalevo. If I eat a lot of protein I take a sinemet.. I still go down many times during the day somtimes hard but i"m starting to handle it.

I also am taking Stalevo 50-200MG. 2 in the morning; 1 around midday; the other late in the afternoon. With each, I take a tablespoon of Zandopa. With the morning I also take 1/32 teaspoon pure FCC Grade L-Dopa from NutriVita. I agree with dfasci, that if you wait to take it when you go into an off state - you are too late. For me, consistency is important and Stalevo seems to like an empty stomach.
