My husband switched immediately without much problem, but he also took a regular carbidopa/levodopa along with it for a few days.

Took me a month or 2, but my body adjusts slowly to all med changes. I am not sure it is any more effective for balance than C/L, but lasts longer. I started to get slight balance issues after taking Rytary; PT said due to dyskinesia.

The clinical trial measured results after 30 weeks. The stronger the dose, the better the results. Maximum improvement from baseline was 10% - 15% depending on the strength of the dose. Thus, Rytary is not an immediate silver bullet. Possible, but unlikely.

I've been on Rytary for about 3years now. It took me a couple of weeks to adjust I had to up my dose to 145mg. I don't have any of the past issues I had taking Sinemet.
