Pain and aching muscles was and is a sign that my husband needs an increase in his medication.
While he is trying to to postpone the inevitable I massage the bits that ache at the end of the day. An increase in Meds has always helped in the end. I am sure he'll get to the stage where he has maxed out but he is a long way from that at the moment and wants a good quality of life while he is able to use it.
I have had arm cramps for a while and found keeping hydrated (drinking water) helped my cramps in the legs and arms, also I used 100% Lavender oil worked well, stopping the cramp. Also there are leg spasm creams that work well The best is from a company named NORWEX...do a search to find someone who sells it. Hopefully, I work get in trouble for suggesting this, but I use the leg cream on my arms and it works.
For leg cramps, I have found an advice from another person with PD that have really helped for me. His advice was that when you streatch your leg, make sure you keep your ankles bent like the letter "L". Ever since he had given me this advice about 7 years ago, I have not had a single leg cramp.
