New Here - Type 3c diabetes.

Hi there,

Looking for support groups / networking groups of folks with type 3c diabetes.

Long story short:

- Necrotic Pancreatitis in 2022

- Hospitalized 4 months

- Developed gastroparesis

- Surgery, removed gallbladder and performed gastrojejunostomy

Now I have type 3c diabetes, as well as a few other chronic "leftover" problems / overlapping issues.

My main interest is learning more about type 3c since there isn't a ton out there, and I'm confused as to how it's different.

There is so much information out there about diabetes, but 3c is it's own thing, and I've read conflicting information about it being "like type 1" or "closer to type 2."

I can't help you as after tests I haven't got D3 but another autoimmune problem and calcified pancreatitis. I hope someone in the group can do so. Take care
