Recently I copy-pasted a few paragraphs from a medical site online and sent it to my sister. It was much easier than trying to describe it. I find it very discouraging to try to explain my symptoms and the diagnosis myself. Talking about it just seems to send me spiraling down into negative thoughts that are not helpful. So this is an option that can work, - if one doesn’t have the medical language to describe CP to another person who also doesn’t know what it is. 😉
