Hi everyone! 👋 Skye here from Mission: Cure. When living with chronic pancreatitis, there are so many uncertainties, like bone disease. In our upcoming webinar, we're diving into this topic and sharing ways you can prevent osteopenia and osteoporosis. Attending this webinar can set you up on the right path to caring for your bones and keeping them at their best, even with the known risks.

During this free webinar, you'll learn about:

- The connection between pancreatitis and bone conditions

- Risk factors, warning signs, and essential screening tests

- Proactive strategies for maintaining bone health

- Available treatment options

This information will be presented by Dr. Darwin Conwell, a renowned pancreatitis expert, and Dr. Madhumathi Rao, a bone and kidney health specialist. Join us on Wednesday, November 8th at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET by registering here 👉 us02web.zoom.us/webinar/reg...

I registered for the webinar. I truly do not want to miss this. However, I am juggling a lot these weeks and am wondering if you normally send out a “reminder” email? As in: an email with a link? (Yes, I already have my own “reminder”) - Which goes to show how “poorly” my brain can get juggling “life”. 😉 Thank you. Looking forward to my first webinar since joining this group. See you soon!

I watched the webinar. It was informative. The doctors were able to explain bone disease extremely well. I have osteoporosis and have another dexa scan scheduled. I didn’t know there were treatment options other than going straight to injections. I wish I’d known this. I’ve refused to take the injections because of the side effects. I’m going to make an appointment to have a bone health work up. If you weren’t able to watch it live, I hope people in this group watch it on YouTube.
