Alcohol

I assume none of us drink alcohol but has anyone had any experience with alcohol free wine or gin ?

I’ve tried alcohol free wine and been unable to find one that was palatable. I have a bottle of alcohol free gin but I haven’t tried it and haven’t found a gin drinker to conduct the test. I have and do drink some very pleasant alcohol free and very low alcohol beers. Doom Bar and Old Speckled Hen are good examples. Aldi sell a quite pleasant zero alcohol lager called St. Etienne best served cold.

I have tried alcohol free gin with tonic, very pleasant

I drink non alcoholic drinks _ wine,sparkling wine and fruit beer. Also Mocktails when I go out. Fortunately I rarely drank alcohol pre diagnosis so it's no big deal

Tesco white yuck. Tesco red okay. Gardens pink non alcoholic gin is nice plus non alcoholic Prosecco.You need to try different ones to suite your palate

I agree but I never liked lager so not something I would try. My husband says it is fine but he liked normal Heineken

I also tried some of my friends alcohol free cider. I can’t remember the make but it was a well known one - maybe Strongbow.

Just like fizzy apple juice and way too sweet.
