WAV anyone recommend a wheelchair accessible vehicle? re-posting as can't see replies
i have an indoor/outdoor wheelchair (NHS) and found the the cost of fitting ramps/lifts astronomical. i planned my own ramps my son made and fitted them total cost about £150 including battery run winch. first fitted into granada estate, them daewoo estate, now i have a mitsubishi delica, with this vehicle we no longer have to take of the back rest and arms of the w/chair. other disabled people have commented on the ramps and have said what a good idea they are, (and i should have patented them). has anyone else noticed just because your disabled how much more everything cost! (rip off britain) regards to all
