CHRONIC PAIN WITH SPINAL STENOSIS
Hi , I have cervical myelopathy c3c4c5 fused and I take pregablin Baclofen, pregablin , Kapake to ease the pain if this helps in anyway. Clive.
Gabapentin and CBD Oil, I only used to get pain down both legs when I was trying to be too physical, I gave that up as I don’t want to be left paralysed.
Hi, have you tried a Tens machine? These are quite cheap and you can wear them when sitting, walking or in bed. My wife Ankalosing Spondalosis and myself with l4-l5-s1 fusion find them a useful alternative when mixed with usual pain meds. Barry
Hi, I’m prescribed Gabapentin for severe leg pain. It works quite well. I take 300mg 3 times a day, plus an extra 300mg at night (600mg right before bed). This also aids sleep. Gabapentin is a med you need to titrate up, to find your level. They can mess with your head, so it’s important to find your level for your body. Doctors don’t actually tell you how much to take, they leave it to you to find your level.
Pregabalin and dyhidrocodeine. I am trying to wean myself of the pregabalin. Be aware that pregabalin and gabapentin are both very addictive and it’s difficult to get of them once you have been on them for a while (well for most of us). It does help with the referred pain but it does not take it away, just makes it more bearable.
I took Pregabalin but started to get Angina pains. Studies in the US have shown that Pregabalin used in conjunction with opioid painkillers can cause a sudden drop in oxygen levels. As soon as I stopped the Pregabalin the Angina pains stopped. I told the Gp but he was clueless on the matter and had to Google the info. I now use Mirtazipene in lieu of Pregabalin.
Pregablin. Paracetamol and I use a tens machine also a heat rub on my back
I have pregablin, zomorph, oramorph and paracetamol, but i get a lot of pins and needles and numbness in my legs
I have lumbar degenerative disc disease, I take nefopam naproxen and amitriptyline.nefopam takes the edge off my pain,it blocks the signal form the brain to the site of the pain.
I was previously prescribed Naproxen but it was possible it damaged my Gall Bladder which disintegrated , caused Liver damage and diverticulitis. I can no longer use NSAIDS. I take Dihydrocodeine, Tramadol and Paracetamol for pain from Stenosis, nerve damage, prolapse disc and arthritis. I mobilise using crutches and a wheelchair.
