Not sure I believe you in "it always gets better" after an accident in 1976 it definitely has not got better but it has got worse year by year just after the accident I had quite bad back pain which I got use to except when I had to run now over 40 years I am lucky if I can get up and am able to get washed and dressed on bad days I can not even get out of bed.

I think your saying should be "in time you get use to it"

Regards Poppy Ann.

I agree I don't think this post is relevant to people suffering from chronic pain πŸ€”

Whenever I think it can't get worse, it does. When asked for pain level on a scale of 10, it's always 10, but 10 means something worse than it did the last time I was asked. Immediately after facet joint injections a number was demanded. I said I sat in the waiting room for over an hour, then lay on the table for the injections another hour. Let me walk for five minutes and I can tell if the pain is any less.(I no longer get five minutes with low pain level after not moving.) They insisted I give them another. I'm sure if they let people give a before and after number that meant anything their success level number would be very low.

Have to say I'm a non beleiver in it always gets better. However there is a life out there if you can do it do it now while you can. You never know whats round the corner it could be even worse. Make the best of any good health you do have and try any thing that might improve your the pain aspect. Enjoy your day.

Agreed, I have had 25years of it and its getting worse, now my wife has it! You just have to grin and bearit

Its all about remembering.".Never give up" and we are just" bent not broken". If u can pick urself up..then don't forget about the others suffering beside u and help them" Sometimes it Doesn't get better (I have incurable illnesses), but we all have a choice to let it take us down OR.. RISE UP from it.

I choose "Rise UP" and help the ones beside me!!! :)
