Hi I am new here. Apart from the fact that I have diabetes, I also have scoliosis which I have had all my life. I am taking Tramadol for the pain, some days it works other days I suffer. Also getting clothes to fit is a pain (excuse the pun) I only wear trousers or jeans, skirts and dresses do not fit properly. I have never met or talked with anyone else who has this condition so I am hoping that there is fellow sufferers who can give me a few coping methods. Thanks for reading.

What is CPRS I have suffered with anxiety and depression in the past and after many years Drs are acknowledging the fact that anxiety and depression are real illnesses. People are now getting the support they need. I did not get any support from GP's so consequently I did bad things to myself. I'll support you in any way I can.

CRPS. Sorry just realised my phones been changing it lol. Complex regional pain syndrome. I too suffer from anxiety and depression also bouts of emotional outbursts mainly crying. I use to everything then couldn't it destroyed my work., but I'm getting use to it I hope been nearly 10 years since the accident and 6 since I was forced to retire. Hope you having a good day.

My son has scoliosis. I’m also part of a scoliosis group on Facebook. If you are on Facebook I can get the link for you.

Hi Wee Nanny.

Good to meet you. I have diabetes, COPD, peripheral neuropathy, cyclical depression and a "degenerate" lumbar scoliosis which, as it worsens, produces more pain and leads to my left leg collapsing under me. I will never do a better thing than weaning myself off Tramadol (over three months).

I was walking on the ceiling after just 1 Tramodol for ulcer pain, many years ago. Took myself off them.

I take Tramadol 100mg and 50mg, most days it works but when it doesn't, keep away from me

Hello. I was diagnosed with Scoliosis age 11, by the school doctor in S.Africa. My curvature is quite evident now. My DEXA Scan showed I have Osteoporosis. I was born asthmatic and took Cortisone until in my 50's, when my GP took me off them. 3 months later, I developed GCA, and now Addison's Disease and 0n 7mg Pred. It's disheartening to see my body changing, but something I have to accept. All the best to you. x

Forgot to say that I take 30mg Co-Codamol, prescribed, for back pain. Also, when I cannot bear any pain, I take Morphine, also prescribed.Never-ending back pain is so debilitating. x

How did you manage to get Morphine

It's liquid Morphine. Oramorph.

Did your dr prescribe it, I thought it was illegal to prescribe that
