Only a doctor can answer that question. It might be worth asking if she can see a neurologist as they are the specialists who deal with severe headaches.

Has she seen a doctor....? My daughter had severe headaches, that we all thought were due to tension....but it was much, much more than that. She should be tested for an aneurysm...my daughter did not and she did not make it.....this sounds scary but it is meant to be....I wish I had insisted she see a doctor.

she has had a lot of family worries lately ...

Probably the cause is stress. If they continue paracetamol at the correct dose should help lower her temperature. Also turn down the heating in her room and open a window.

If the headaches persist for more than a week then she should consult her GP. Preferably with a diary of her symptoms ie the start and stop times of headaches, her temperatures, vomiting occurrences etc.
