What's the best pain med for RSD I need something that last 8 hours I still work I can't afford to go on disability

There is no "best med" for RSD everyone is different and react differently to the same meds it is a case of trial and error till you find something that helps you. I have had RSD for 14 years now and have just had my leg amputated in an effort to reduce my pain ,this is not an option for everyone.

Be guided by your pain consultant he knows your options much better than anyone else .Hope you find something to get you through the day .

I got referred to a pain specialist and with his help have actually reduced my pain meds, by taking them in different ways, and using different combinations (something for base level pain and something for breakthrough pain). If you are having trouble getting through the day because of pain, ask to be referred to a pain clinic or pain specialist.
