Reducing kidney function on niraparib

Hello fellow travellers

I have been on niraparib for 17 months and my GFR has been dropping. It wasn’t very good before.

Ca125 also slowly rising but uptil now no evidence on scan. Did any one of you have this experience? If so what other treatment were you offered? Would be grateful for some information.

Thank you

I was on Niraparib for a year . My CA 125 started to elevate. I started a trial last September adding avastin to the Niraparib. So far I am doing well and my disease is stable. I am in Canada so not sure what trials are available.

Thank you for the information. I will discuss this with my consultant.

Hello

More for info rather than usefulness with an answer, but I stopped taking Rucaparib at the beginning of this year after taking it for 18 months, as my eGFR was moving downwards and creatinine increasing. Both have now stabilised without Impoving and so far, no change to my normal CA125. The consultant could give no explanation for the declines, and is happy to just review with bloods every 3 months.

Best wishes

Sally
