I have been on Niraparib for over a year now and the only side effect I seem to have is constipation. I have changed my diet to help me go regular but sometimes if I go off track I get constipated and end up having to take a laxative. A couple of times when this happens I get terribly sick, it is almost like because I am not going to the toilet it comes out the other way! It feels like I have been poisoned ! Has anybody else experienced this?

Niraparib
I too am on Niraparib and I noticed that I get a bit constipated so I take a ducalax tablet but not every day.
I am also on Niraparib and was getting constipated, I have a few prunes each morning with my breakfast and that does the trick.
I started Niraparib in December & constipation is my only symptom too. I guess I should be grateful that’s all. I try & control with my diet but it does drive me crazy. Luckily not sick with it but it’s very uncomfortable. Unfortunately even the smallest dose of laxative sends me completely the other way. Liquorice & chocolate seems to help a bit also going for a long walk
Morning, I've been on Niraparib since November and unfortunately it isn't working so I'm going to have to come off it. I had minimal side effects although the last few weeks have been slightly constipated. Try and up your fluid intake and apples often get things moving for me xx
Prunes daily and lots of water work for me.
My Dr had me take miralax daily until I was more regular. Adapt as needed to avoid diarrhea.
Thanks for all your comments Guys I have started drinking more water and prune juice which seems to be working - fingers crossed. X
