My mum was on niraparib for 3 weeks (300mg) but then had a 3 week break due to low platelets. She has been back on them a week and her ca125 has risen in that week. I just wondered if anyone has had a similar experience. She is a due a scan next week but I do wonder if she should ask about waiting as surely the 3 weeks off will have had an impact on the result potentially?
Thanks and God bless

Hello. I'm on Niraparib since June 20, 16 months. My Ca125 did not got up when niraparib stopped but I have read many times that ca125 can go up for many reasons , a cold an inflamation, a virus, etc. First weeks wth 300 mg my platelets dropped and had to stop for 2 weeks. Restarted with 200mg and everthing is ok but bloodpressure is a little up and I have 1 tablet of "enalapril" (name in Spain) 3 times a week. Also I have a little insomnia sometimes. I am very happy because Niraparib is working very well and my Ca125 is very stable.
