Im really sorry to hear you've had tk stop the tablets. What kind of side effects were you having.I'm on anastrazole and olaparib.

I do get aching joints , back and painful knees that swell which I thought was due to Olaparib but now think could be down to anastrazole .

I get pretty bad hot flushes too and I'm tired all the time but the tiredness is probably due to the parp.

Hi I have been on letrozole since 2019 and at 1st had some unwanted side effects but subsided after a few weeks . Previous to that I was on Tamoxifen for about 6 months but the side effects were quite bad . However I know people , particularly breast cancer patients who tolerate it really well , so it is indivdualWhen you said tramazole did you mean Tamoxifen? As far as I know tramazole is used for tapeworms in sheep & cattle 😀 so expect you meant something else unless I am wrong

Is it worth asking oncologist if you could try letrozole

Ps my worse side effect when 1st taking letrozole was muscle aches but did settle down xx

I have been taking Letrozole since 2018 for breast cancer. I still have hot flushes, particularly since my OC surgery. I also suffered from joint and muscle pain, but this settled down after a few months. It does take a while to settle down and I struggled at first.
