Hi everyone

I finally had a follow up for my OC having fallen through the cracks! As I also had uterine and was discharged back to my surgeon for that, it seems the letter didn’t get copied to the right people and I was missed regarding the OC which is being followed up at my treating centre.

Anyway, I chased them and after apologies they did my consultation in the phone there and then but this was of course done without the benefit of blood results. I had to wait for an appointment as is the new norm (you can usually just drop in for bloods) and had that this week. Called for the results yesterday and all looks ok! Everything is in normal range apart from vit B so will be back on the folic acid and CA125 is 10 (I’m a reactor)! Big sigh of relief yesterday so can breathe for three months 🥰

That’s super! I got a course of vit B injections soon after my last chemo and found that my energy levels and general health improved after the course. Look after yourself and keep well!
