Two weeks ago I had robotic surgery for removal of both ovaries both fallopian tubes and two cysts one was fairly large then the other I have 3 incisions one on my left. One on my right side of my stomach and belly button I was released from the hospital the same day the first week wasnt bad I had some discomfort moving my bowels from the pressure of going now this week I've been having pains on my left side just like I had when I had the large cyst it's very painful and my stomach is sore should this be happening ? I go see my surgeon June 1 my surgery was may 17th

I do not know anyone who has had this sort of rob9tic surgery, but would hope that the pain was getting better not worse. I note you are seeing your surgeon today, so hope you get some answers.

Hi,

I had robotic surgery also. There is a lot of healing going on and forgive me for saying this but,it really does take time.

It’s great that you’re seeing the surgeon tomorrow. Many regions don’t offer a follow-up.Make a little list of any concerns but, rest assured you will heal. Each person is different but,the pain will decrease, always good to get a good pain management programme going, light movement, lots of water and take good care.

Best wishes,Clare
