Hi Zena41,

I was never advised to do anything different with my diet. When on chemo I was told I could have anything I fancied. But, in saying that, I now eat a bit more healthily avoiding sugar (a bit) cutting down on meat. I now have lots of nuts and seeds and tons of water. I didn't drink water before but now have at least 4 pints a day. I don't drink tea or coffee but didn't before either. I'm back on rum now which I didn't fancy when on the chemo.

You may put on weight with the steroids. I think most of us did but that goes back to normal when you stop taking them.

Best wishes, Zena J xx
