Women wanted for Macmillan videoshoot on coping with hair loss

Dear All

We have received the following request from Macmillan:

"I am writing from Macmillan Cancer Support, where I am organising a video shoot on coping with hair loss, and I’m looking for people who might want to take part.

Would you possibly be able to help me find some participants?

I am looking for two women who are either currently going through cancer treatment and have lost their hair, or whose hair is growing back after treatment.

We’d like to film people talking about the experience and their feelings about their hair loss. We’d also like to film them trying on wigs and getting one cut and styled. The famous hairdresser Trevor Sorbie has kindly agreed to do this for us (there’ll be the chance to keep the wig that’s cut and styled for you). As well as that, we’d like to film someone being instructed on applying eyebrow/eyelash make up and trying on headscarves.

The shoot will take place on Wednesday 19th/ Thursday 20th July in London at a location yet to be confirmed."

They won't want me then. Don't do makeup I've gone back to my tomboy roots Watch out trees here I come. But during weekly taxol I kept my hair with the cold cap. My pubic hair almost disappeared so I'm sure the cap was helping.
