" Hold fast to dreams ,

For if dreams die

Life is a broken-winged bird

That cannot fly "

This morning for the millionth time I woke up to the realisation of my own broken wings. I looked out my window and on this beautiful sunny day I saw a beautiful bullfinch that has flown into our window for the third time this month. With our ginger cat lurking nearby I saved this little birds life for the third time. I felt his little heart beating as I placed him in a safe place. I thought of all the lovely women on this site who are learning to fly again . We can only do that if we are picked up gently and treated with loving compassion. Some are lucky enough to find this but others are not. My little bird is teaching me that I deserve to be treated in the same way with the same gentleness and if I am not then I must find it elsewhere. He has made my heart flutter with new hope . I will now attempt to add a photo of him that I took last week just before he flew away. Meanwhile have a lovely weekend

I have no idea if I succeeded or if you just got my whole album ! Am I supposed to see it myself on this post before I post it ?

Thanks Suzuki

I tried so many times to load that photo so I hope someone will let me know the secret . I got such a great close up of him as he was still a bit dazed . He flew away a few minutes later. I will put him up on a new post if some kind person tells me how . He did cheer me up this morning and boy did I need it

Yes its amazing how nature does inspire us and it is good to take time out and look at it all around us. I am not sure how to add a photo, my daughter helped me with the wedding one. I think some some said go to add photo and then add it but not sure, maybe D Hogwarth might instruct us both as my daughter loses patience with me

Oh I'm a technophobic, but don't need a photo when your description is so good!

I just love sitting in my garden, when it is quiet looking at the birds and everything seems so clear and focused,

It's just the simple things that mean so much xxx

Hi Carole's

It's such a pretty bird that I wanted show him off. I wouldn't call myself the worlds best photographer but the poor little thing was so dazed he didnt mind me taking a close up. If you think you are technophobic you dont know me !

What a lovely post!

You should be able to include a photo on a post by clicking on the box under the text box called 'Add photo'. A box should pop up with your own folders and files. Locate the particular photo you want to use and click on 'choose' at the bottom of the box. You should then see a copy of the picture along with your post.

best wishes

Sharon

Hi Sharon

I have done all that lots of times and it tells me it is loading but then eventually I get a message saying " whoops. We had a problem loading your image ! I just clicked on the photo. There is no option to choose. I guess you will all have to just imagine him !

What an inspiring story, I sat in my garden on Saturday just watching nature go about its daily life, I felt so relaxed listening to the birds and watching the bees at work.
