Thank you Jackie for this post. I would like to extend my thanks and virtual hugs to everyone on this site. It's been a crazy year (diagnosed in April) and I wonder how long it will take for me to really come to terms with it (or will I ever!) but having this site and your support makes it easier. Thank you, and wish you all a lovely Christmas, and a new year filled with hope, health and love. Amanda
Hope!!
Hi Amanda, reading your reply to my Christmas message, and in particular, di we ever come to terms with it!! I often think on this, and my conclusion is no we don't and no we can't.If coming to terms with it means accepting it, and I will never accept it, the disease, the unfairness, the injustice, the failure if the medical profession who neglect symptons.
Makes me sound bitter I know, I'm not really, try to be very positive and upbeat active and a fighter for most if the time, but ever so often, my mind starts working overtime again on the negative aspects.
After all we are all human and as such often have little control on the mind games.
Sorry to moan, probably still suffering from last chemo aftershocks!!
Hope you had a good Xmas !!!!!!
