Hi Dawn, that's great my hair is about an inch long went out for the first time without a scarf this week, although wore a hat because its cold but took it off in the restaurant (obviously). Great feeling never did wear the wig they gave me, wonder if can take it back to shop for NHS to get a refund?

I too, never wore my wig. I did ask at the Macmillan centre about returning etc (as it still has tags as well) but they didn't appear interested

What a waste of money, I think we should tell the NHS but I guess some people do want them. My husband would hate to loose all his hair not that he has got much but he is so vain Lol x

Brilliant ! m x

Great its a big step isnt it, be sure to use plenty of conditioner and my hairdresser suggested a tiny bit of wax. That certainly has helped with the frizz.

Hi Dawn, Isn't it a super feeling to have some hair again? For me, it was feeling the wind in my hair when it grew back after the Chemo - but not seeing it blowing away in front of me. That happened when I was losing it at first. it stuck all on the two women's black coats who were walking ahead of me!! I bet they wondered wherever it had come from when they saw it, later on. The same day I tried a jumper on in M&S and had to sit in the changing room for a good ten minutes, picking all my hair off of it, as it didn't fit. I cut all my hair off as soon as I got home ..............!!

Hope you have loads of hair soon that does need the dryer.

Love Solange

ah you've made me giggle reading this!

The hair isn't quite what I ordered, ie thick luscious blonde, but it's better than nothing!

Oh solange that is so funny, yes it is so nice to feel the wind in your hair. My hair has come in a mixture of black and white and curly,i love it,ill try a little wax to tame it down, its so unruley, haha. I could,nt wear my wig,it was so itchy,i tried wearing a night cap under it. Too hot. I used to whip it off where ever i was,and put my hat on,i used to get some weird looks lol, anyway take care, love to you all.megxx

Hi my hair is also about one inch long. It is salt and pepper in colour. In the Uk wearing a hat because I feel the cold. Currently in Lanzarotte for a weeks break before my next scan and not using a scarf or my Elisabeth Taylor turban. Great feeling.

Oh I was in Lanzarote last week, with my inch long salt and pepper hair!

I've got my scan next week so made the most of my break

Enjoy your holiday, and just by the way I tried hair gel yesterday, my children told me not to bother!

Oh how wonderful! I'm very excited about my half inch growth - am a bit shocked though. I had auburn hair and it's growing back all white. But what the heck, it's hair and it's mine and I'm super happy about it :)
