What treatment did you have (or are currently having) for your ovarian cancer?

I had a total hysterectomy and 6 rounds of carbol and taxol. I get an implant every 6 months so that I dont go into the menopause plus a yearly scan.

my wife has been diagnosed with stage 3 oc but current indications suggest it is inoperable currrently receiving 4th carbo/taxol regime . has anyone been in similar position and what is future treatment

I was diagnosed with 2 tumours on my ovaries in Oct11. At the time it was inoperable. i had 6 carbo/taxol treatments which shrunk the tumours and had surgery in april 12. I then had 2 more carbo/taxol treatments . All was good. Was diagnosed 2 days ago with a recurrence and starting chemo in 2 weeks. i am hopeful that this will control the cancer. Dont give up hope.
