Sleeping for a 2.5 year old

My daughter has always been a good sleeper but over this period she is sleeping more. She has a nap in the day around 1pm sometimes 2pm and then goes to bed around 8pm she used to get up about 7-7:30am but all last week she's slept till at least 9am.

She is a healthy child and eats a well balanced diet too

I'm 27 weeks pregnant so in one sense I'm not complaining as I've been extremely tired with this pregnancy. But a little concerned for her.

Is this normal?

Hi Rachel, it's gone the other way now she's waking in the night every couple of hours when you asks what's wrong she says she doesn't know. She soon goes back to sleep. This happens most nights. And she now tends to wake up about 6:30am.

Oh no, that's really tiring ! Do you think she is experiencing nightmares?

Best Wishes. Rachel

Yeah maybe sometimes I ask if she's had a bad dream and she says yes but not sure if she knows what dreams are.

Thanks hopefully it's a phase x
